Family-run manufacturing firm with over 50 years of experience Bingley Textile Supplies is a family-run textile manufacturer based in West Yorkshire, specialising in piping cord.
We’ve been manufacturing textile products since 1969 and currently specialize in the production of piping cord for the furniture, bedding, upholstery and fashion industries.
We’re a small business, and we’re proud of it.
It means our customers can speak directly to people who understand the products and the manufacturing process. No red tape, no departments struggling to communicate with each other, just answers when you need them.
Piping Cord Made to Your Requirements We manufacture a range of piping cords in different materials, sizes and constructions, including washable piping, paper piping, various cotton cords, and edge roll.
Many of our products can also be adapted to suit individual requirements.

Over 50 Years of Textile Manufacturing Bingley Textile Supplies was established in 1969 by John Michael Hassell.
As the textile industry changed, so did we. In the 1990s we moved into piping cord. John used his years in manufacturing to create some new machines, in order to create a new product. Those same machines (and many more) are still part of our production today.
Today, the business is in its third generation and remains family-run.
That history matters to us. We’ve built long-standing relationships with our customers by producing good-quality products, being flexible when requirements change and doing our best to find a solution when a standard product isn’t quite right.
